RE: coilovers...
Be carefull with coilovers, from what I have heard, they don't provide as much clearance as the stock struts...you may actually need spacers if you go that route.

Yeah, they are nice as is, but they look pretty good with what I am suggesting too, not the rear face of the rims, the inside edge of the spokes (the flat edge perpendicular to the face of the spoke).

There is a member named Sampson, who has an RX8 and he did it to his, I saw them in person and they look great. I'll try to find some pictures of his rims on here.

edit: so i stole your photo to photoshop it with my color and gold rx-8's. I love the color combo and the color that bigj884 just painted his rx-8 rims looks sweet. what you think??

Wow, that actually looks really good, I'm actually a little jealous. I sold my car about a month ago and bought a 05' GTO. God I miss my car so much already, it would have been nice to keep it also.

I had 50,000 miles on it, warrenty was up, and it was time for a change. Yes I sold the wheels with the car, I still have the stock ones though. The ride was chill, and I didn't have any rubbing issues. Beware of curbs though, I had never curbed a wheel before I put on the RX-8's, I managed to curb 3 of the 4 wheels. I guess the lack of sidewall maybe.........?

yes possibly bewcause there was no sidewall what so ever. shame u sold them with the car but kept the stockers. interested in selling them. assuming they are the 03.5 darker RH's correct?
