Jdm ?

Some may love it some may hate it, but i love JDM type cars. Like L8R's car supmans car, and many others.

I want to make Vxfilmer1000's car a little more JDM but I just dont know what to do and i no way or form want to be riced out. I dont mean like full on everything JDM or anything just some JDM things here and there. Any pics or things that you guys have done to your msp,p5,ect to make it more "JDM"

P5 headlights (dual beams), P5 rims, no wing, slammed. Looked super clean.

I mean I'm willing to spend some money along the way, but I'm just kinda looking at things right now.

I though for awhile about wiring my sidemarkers to be on always, while my headlights are on. Not really JDM but kinda like the way it looks on hatchbacks and whatnot.

Your car is already great looking! Maybe a nice "jdm style" angled exhaust? Under axel much like sandspeeds would look great. Car already looks killer though...

Well, I like the way you took out the fog lights, looks nicer. Cf trunk would be a nice investment with no wing.

I ordered the foglight delete covers for them and they will be here tomo, so I wont have just open holes there anymore. I would love to go wingless again, I might end up taking it back off.

Some nice bride or recaro seats. I love my BRIDE "PROS" seat. Ya, pros is not plural, it's just the name of the seat. It's relatively less expensive than most bride seats, and the quality is amazing. If you wanna drop a grand, pick up the above described seat and a takata harness. Also, the carbon fiber wingless trunk would be killer!

Just buy any of these brands and you are set: Bride, Recaro, Takata, AutoExe, Mintblue, Mazdaspeed Japan, AME, Work, Rays, Cusco, Rotora... haha

I might look into some nice Aftermarket seats, but I cant see my self spending 1k for 2 seats and brackets.

Well, depends what you want. My Corbeaus were 1 grand with 2 seats, 2 sliders/rails, and 2 harnesses. But yah, Bride will run you a grand each.

Depends on the model though. The PROS can be had for around 600 shipped if you look for them. The BRIDE quality is all there, and they are super comfy. I love mine... perfect balance between a nice bucket and daily driver. It's not reclineable, but I didn't want it that way

You might be better off going TDM...it's a lot cheaper and works great for turning heads around here.

Oh, and BTW L8R, those wheels are still killing me. They have an awesome lip. What are they again? I can't tell if it's just the wheels or the combo with your car, but they look great. They are the only wheels I've really been temped to put on over the stockers. How 'bout you ship them over so I can test fit them and see how they look?

If you can get authentic mazdaspeed seats, omg, you'd be the man haha. More $$$ than brides. Or even AutoExe Recaro seats (shocked)

Here's a question on JDM stuff, please don't take offense or think I am ignorant.

I like the look of it, and understand the brand importance for the cache of it, etc. Here is my question. Do guys in Japan (real guys, with families and other priorities, not shops like Top Secret or RE or something) always go for the high-dollar parts? Does no one in Japan save a buck or two here and there by not using CF recaro tomcat's, etc?
