MY though of the day

I drove my car home tonight.I have done a load off stuff to my wagon.I have, babied the thing from day 1.So i am kind off a pansy ass as far as actualy mating, not leting up for a good 5 min,on a smooth road.My car is automatic(yes my choice).Ounce you have spent min.$5500 on important things(intake HKS foam not kn type,(wow) full suspension, plugs, caams, rods, pistons, oil pan,exhaust-cats,17"rims) not stupid junk.I n my opinion and i am sure the Mazdaspeeds proteges are the same, that car is perfect.(wow)

not to be a grammar nazi, but do you mean "My thought of the day"?

because my though off the day makes no sense, whatsoever.

I'm just giving you a hard time, and no you didn't come off like an ass to me or at least how I read it.

Best days with a car are those days that it just seems to fit. I had those with my protege5 from time to time.

I know exactly what you mean. Everything seems to click and you don't want to get out of the car. I think that's what Mazda wanted to get across with the Zoom Zoom phrase. Then there are days that every sound, vibration, tick, or whistle gets me thinking there is something wrong. Name of the game I guess.

Just like women, when things are good with a car, you're on top of the world. Unfortunately, the opposite applies as well.

I cannot agree more. When everything seems to go right the car is phenominal, but there are those days when I just want to blow it up. Just resently I had a belt issue and everytime I heard the squealing upon startup I wanted to just roll a grenade under it. Now that's fixed I can't help but look at my car and think "what a great car." Now if only I could stop my suspension from crunching, popping, etc. lol...

I owned a GMC 2000 Sonona before the P5. 30 times+ at the dealer, 17 for the same problem. Traded for 2 Mazdas. Dealership 1 time for a defective radiator hose (Wifes truck). That is it in 3.5 years. the P5 has been perfect, and treated me well since day 1, even without mods. Only bad thing that this car has from the factory are the Dunflop tires.

I agree, what a great car, even with the continuous glow of the check engine light...

my other though of yesterday

Pull out your old leather jacket.Get some good scicsors, start cutting.Try to take advantage of the profesionaly made seems already on jacket.Get a needle and threed ,with pliers to pull through needle.Make so your seems lie, in a none noticable spot. Then stitch.I have made E-brake boot, shift boot, armrest cover from 1 jacket i bought at Value village for $50.Have to wrap the sides were the lower gauges are.Not realy much sewing if you plan your cuts.Spray can of contact cement needed for armrest.Other jacket you see in pis is for my Door panels, replacing the fake suede.I did not put back e-brake plastic trim before pics (ops) or the shift boot.
