RANT: Zoom Zoom

yes, I too downloaded the mp3. You can find it on the soundtrack for "Only the Strong", and a few other movies as well. The day after I got my car, I set my mp3 alarm clock program to wake me up for work with it. However - I have not found the need to burn it to a cd.

Perhaps if I could find a child that resembled the boy, and dressed him in the same clothes; I could then drop him off in a public area with a Kareoke machine and then practice driving by him while he says "zoom zoom".

Where's this guy when you need him?

I like a car commercial to tell me about the car itself (power, warranty, safety). What kind of cash back or low interest I can get. Don't focus your whole commercial on the Friggin tail lights - NISSAN!

Mazda should go back to the old slogan - <i><b>MAZDA ~ It Just Feels Right.</i></b>

Hey, I actually like the zoomzoom campaign. It works, and not just in the U.S. They are running the same ads with the same kid with the same song in Japan. The first time some of my friends saw my mp5 in NY, they were like, "oh cool you have the zoomzoom car!"

I like the ads in the car magazines for the 6, those ads look slick with the zoom-zoom slogan.

I agree in liking the campaign. It's all about sticking in your head. People automatically know what you're talking about with the zoom zoom song.
The ads for the 6 are slick with the zoom zoom, yes. I like them and they are everywhere

i agree, its all about having a catchy slogan and it doesnt really get better than 'zoom-zoom' (although i would really like my p5 to have a little more of it, like about 50 more 'zoomin' horses)

'zoom-zoom' itself is great for marketing, the song is a little dorky tho.

tho anything is better than:

According to my wife who was in Japan recently, the zoom zoom song is the same, but the musicians/band is different! It's not as Caribbean as it was here in the US at first. More cool sounding, according to her. But I kinda miss the "Be moved" slogan too.

BTW, what are the RX-8 TV ads looking like? I don't get TV reception at all so I've missed all the XMen RX8 ads...

I hate the Ford truck commercial where the large ass boat can't go through the ice so the Ford pulls it, the other one where the Ford pulls a giant plane down a runway and the plane starts flying is just as bad FORD SUCKS!
