Yo!
Alright, we installed one of these in 97DXprotege's car and are very satisfied with the result. We ended up using the actual 626 EGR pipe and everything fit ok except that the bracket holding it to the head did not line up. However, that's not a big deal at all, and we just used the coolant line bracket to hold it to the head. There's a lot more room behind the engine with this manifold, and it's a lot lighter than the original protege manifold. The fuel rail is only held on to the manifold with two bolts instead of the four on the original, but it's on tight. We just connected one of the two vacuum solenoids, the VTCS one, to keep the ECU from freaking out. The VICS solenoid doesn't need to stay connected. With 3xK miles on the car his EGR valve looked clean. When the car was started it idled well, but when given gas it would stumble for a sec. We believe that the ECU just needed a little time to learn. After it warmed up it was ok. We'll give it another day to make a conclusion. It might be the "cold idle" issue that people experience with the VTCS removed. Otherwise, the car runs great and the gains can definately be felt. The car sounds deeper as well. I'll Marko fill in the rest as he's the one that drives the car daily. Post some pics up if you want as well Marko.
Later!
