What do you keep in your glove box?

car manual, insurance docs, extra pen/paper, Unichip switches, wheel lock, mechanic gloves, mini maglite, air freshener!

Nobody keeps gloves in their glove box? I keep CDs and whatever else will fit in there. I clean it out every few months and find some pretty worthless s**** in there.

little quiz here....does anyone know why they call it a "glove box"?

yes....because elephant box doesn't make any sense

Owners Manual
Pen/Pad
Small Flashlight
Fuses
Lug Key ( I know, not a safe place for it)
6 CDs
Ownership Paperwork (insurance, registration, etc.)

... I think that's about it.

The term 'glove box' originated in Europe around 1230 B.C. where cavemen thru their 'man made gloves' into boxes hence the word 'glove compartment.'

in the attached photo you will find I have a bunch of 'legal copies' of my favorite CDs and a copy of Titan AE DVD, the remote controller for my EQ, envelope with maint documentation, misc. fuses, wheel lock key, digital air gauge, screwdriver to remove amp from sub box if I have a flat tire, pen/paper/business card in case I get into an accident and need to write down insurance info, my old school Oakley SubZeroes, plus I had just removed my camera to take this picture. My owners manual is under the back seat.

dealer papers, insurance papers, registration(copy),eyeglass case, tire pressure thing, manual, faceplate case, 15 years of dust....

in trunk with spare: tire inflator, half a quart of oil, jumper cables.
I would like to say that I have never used the oil or jumper cables for my car, but they come in handy to help out others.
