Ok can anyone post pics of their hiboost fmic or another fmic... i have never done anything like this and i am an extreme noob when in comes to car parts. My friends and I are trying to figure out how to install this and we are running into issues...

A. Can't put the fan back on because it is to close to the IC pipe coming off of the core
B. What do you do with the bpv that is coming off of the intake?
C.We started it, but heard a loud wistling noise with air coming out of the bov so we are tryin to adjust that now!!!

PLEASE ANYTHING YOU CAN DO WOULD BE GREAT, I NEED THIS CAR TO RUN...

are you runnning a greddy type-s BOV? those wistle anyways. ill go take some close medium res shots for you....give me 5 minutes.....

heres some...need anything specific?

sure. but what do you mean pipe? the intake and fmic arent actually connected to each other. they're both connected to the turbo.

and the other thing... the pipe coiming off of the intake... the bpv or wastegate which ever one that is do you still have that connected?

i dont have my bpv connected. you can do that to avoid relocating your maf. the pipe coming off my intake is just capped off for now.

HOw do you like the greddy type s on the hiboost system? I want to try it do you recirculate it back into the intake off the turbo. Or did you let it vent.

You should post a picture of the problem area.

im venting but i had also relocated my MAF. without relocation/recirculation i was stalling like crazy. it was so annoying that i was ready to rip the fmic back off.

well.. i relocated my maf, on to the pipe leading to the intake manifold and i have no problems at all. The car runs perfect, no stalling or drop in rpms and i am running bov no recirculation and it runs perfect. I will take some pictures tomorrow and post them

I had relocated my MAF, but I didnt recirculate. The car runs great. Without relocate MAF, my car was running really bad.

What is your opinion of the Hiboost FMIC kit. Did you guys pick it up from Mazda03online.com. Im thinking of buying it and would like any and all input.

i have the hiboost fmic kit and overall its very nice. i cannot compare it to another kit from personal experience becuase it is the only one i have had but it does the job and it does it well. my only complaint is that one of the pipes was too short so i had to use a longer silicon coupler (a few guys have had this problem with the kit) but no big deal. the intercooler fits nicely behind the grill and it is centered.

I am boosting my P5 with a Spool kit and need and FMIC and pipes. Hiboost lists 2 FMIC kits here:

http://www.hiboost.com/intercooler.html

I'm assuming the normal Protege one is the same one in their turbo kit, while the MSP one is MSP specific. I'm looking to mate the kit with my Spool stage 1 kit. Will either fit with minor modification to the pipe that goes the turbo?
