Hey Smurfed I know how you feel. Garrett and I went up there in my dirty ass MP3 (first) . As a matter of fact I think I should change my name from Ahester to SOLOMP3 (poke) "LinuxRacer" since some ppl couldn't bring there's out. Hell yeah, the 3 of us represented Houston.

(Garrett) Yea serg people in houston do need to step up. But it always seems like the smaller guys in houston are the only ones that go out. I always try to make it to meets and ive made it to 2 out of city meets so far and everyone else with more highly modified cars never go. Me and Alan are gonna try to get alot more s*** going on here. What i really wanna do is get everyone to come to houston next time. I mean i know it sounds stupid that we are trying to get the austin and dfw guys to come out, when only a couple people show up to there functions. But im pretty damn sure that if it happend everybody would come out, which is sad i know.

hey guys, sorry to threadjack, but a friend of mine who drives an srt-4 has invited me to go up to Houston the weekend of the 21st and 22nd. he says there is some big "import vs. domestic" event going on by some dog race track and some place that is going to be doing dyno runs (3 runs for $50, or so he says) have any of you all heard anything about that? anyone interested in going??

Sorry i couldnt make it guys.......i just really cant miss work at this time. Im in the middle of getting a new place, and there is so much to buy right now...........ill be sure to make the next one though.

As far as i know, Discreet couldnt make it cause of plans he had already made for this weekend.........and HellCat's girlfriend was having a Birthday And of course, MP3Architect is in India at the moment.........

Most likely at Gulf GreyHound Park for the import vs domestic event.......and Carboy for the dyno runs. I'd be down for something like this........i'll look into it, and ask some srt-4 buddies of mine.
