Hey everyone, just bought a 2002 MP5 a few weeks ago, and there were these two strange looking things on either side of my head lights (braindead Nothing is attached to them like a wire or something...just two platic horn looking thingies. Anyone know what they are? Thanx. PS I love the car, one of my fav ive owned!ill try and attach a foto......

o ya, those are deer horns. they are supposed to create some high pitched noise that scare off deer from jumping in front of your car, take them off!

You should probably be able to get that off with the adhesive remover used for pulling the side molding (3m general purpose adhesive cleaner).

Definately deer horns! Too funny! They sell them at truck stops in very open country areas , in Ohio, Pennsylvania, etc.

They're supposed to make an ultrasonic noise that deer hear that will get them out of the road...

Actually, I know a guy (my boss) who's from the country, and he says they really work. So do wind deflectors, but it doesn't make them any less ugly!

Do whatever you have to do to get them off!
