Google Earth is cyber crack.

I used to have a set of turns that I went through on my motorcycle, so I was using Google Earth to check it out. Here is the first turn in the series that I used to ride. What are the odds of this photo being taken right at this time? Is this guy drifting around the on-ramp? That's a fun turn.

If anyone from the Novi/Livonia area is interested, this is the series of turns that are a BLAST to take on Highway 5 / 275 when there are no cars around. There are a few variations, but this is what I used to do on my bike at nightwith 0 cars around.

I live Downriver, but I definitely know where thats at. I might have to take your advice and go joyriding sometime.

Some areas have newer/better photos. I live in a very populated area, so our roads show up very well. Plus I have a bad ass graphics workstation so I turn all the texture resolutions and filtering all the way up in the settings.

I doubt the guy is drifting in the first picture posted. He probably cut across traffic from the parking lot across the street. He's too close to the start of the turn to be in a drift like that and there isn't eactly room to pick up speed beforehand.

That 's what I'm thinking. That driver just flipped a b****, that's all.
