Hey does anyone know about these nankang NS-1s. I found a good deal and the tire places have said they're good but one site said they tore apart at 1500 mi. you can respond on this or email me at sethamiller@hotmail.com

normally price can tell how good the quality is. but in this case, 1500miles tires fall apart??? i don't believe it until i see them!

Nankang is the largest tire manufacturer in Taiwan, and in the past decade they have been devoting its effort to the performance tires market. if you want as sticky as bridgeston or other slick tires, that's impossible. but as riding comfort, wet driving, tread wear or other concerned categories, not bad as that price though. i know NS-2 offers better traction, but application is 18" or larger. One thing for sure in my mind, it is better than Wanli (made in china). oh ya...i am taiwanese, not chinese!!! peace!!!

My friend just got a set (4) from wheelmax and so far nothing wrong with them. They look good on the wheel too.

Thats all I can tell you.

Later:)

Taiwanese people are the same as Chinese people -.-; How do I know? Because I am Chinese...(mom from Taiwan, dad from China/HK)

Chinese is chinese...heh...Celebrate the same holidays and everything...Which is why Taiwan is known as the People's Republic of China -.-;

Okay i found these nankangs for 240 bucks for a set of 4. So do you guys recommend it. And do you think that guy who was saying his were bad at 1500 was just an idiot or what? i said it all, peace...but one thing i wanna declare is that taiwan is "republic of china", not people's republic of china. i use taiwan's passport to apply my visa, so i assume USA recognizes taiwan as a country...so...but still...peace...:D

my sp9000s are almost worn out (18k, rotated twice, autoX every month), i am waiting for the federal ss595 coz they are all outa stock. i pick ss595 coz the lower treadwear (240)...i know some people said it doesn't necessary mean better traction, but i personally believe it...and KAI's Office founder and famous japanese D1 drift racers tested it and has a posstive feedback...so...but if u r burning out ur pockets...go for it...
