I went to take my heat shield off to polish it and look what i found.Will mazda cover this under warranty?

nope she was running fine no noise no nothing i was very surprised when i seen this crack. but then again i have the hiboost fmic and i didnt put the piece that holds the radiator down on the bottom so all i hear is clunk clunk

If they don't cover it under warrantee Capain KRM P5 is having a GB on the MAM manifold right now. I guarantee you that it won't crack.

i just got of the phone with Mazda in Columbus,Ga and i told them what year i had and he said " i've been here for 10 years and they dont make half year mazdas.There is no such thing as a 2003.5 " I didnt know how to respond to that. And there are a certified mazdaspeed dealer. Idiots

well if your vehicle is still under factory warranty it is covered, but if you have mods that could of effected this component in any way they could deny it.... so be smart and remove all mods go to the dealer and have them replace it....

Wow, what a dumbass. Reminds me of when I went to get my headnunit fixed(at a "Mazdaspeed" dealership). The guy was staring at it, then he says "um, did you get this installed by us?", Me: "Well, it came on the car stock, off the lot". Him: "So, what the problem" I remove the faceplate and begin to explain how it won't flip over or display anything. Him, looking at the faceplate in my hand: "So, the front of it broke off, eh?" (hand)

Hope everyting works out for you in the end.

i wish i could afford it my clutch just went and now this. im ready to just sell it my warranty will be up soon and we cant afford two toys its way too expensive trying to mod both and since mine is the weaker of the two it kinda gets pushed to the side. Oh and no mathew thats not oil i was degreasing the engine bay

If I had to replace a manifold with another stock one I would get the new one jet-hotted. If it's running ok as is, then you got time for it.
