P5 and some other econo box
Ok I got a situation and I need some help. I want to do the MSP conversion on my P5 but I want to use the T28 turbo. Does anyone know where I can find a manifold that will allow me to use the stock IC, intake piping and still use a external wastegate. I do not plan to put down big HP numbers I just want MSP performance out of my P5. Any suggestions?

If you just going for MSP preformance from your p5 then why do you want it externally wg?

cause the turbo I got needs an external wastegate, but if its easier for me to just sell it then thats what ill do. Im in Belguim and I dont have all the resources as I would back in the states. So the kit needs to be as bolt on as possible. It just so happen that I was able to get my hands on a T28 for a good price and what to try to make it work.

Lets see, the flange should bolt up on the turbo, but your wastegate, hmm, you need a spot for that after the mani or something.

Ok gotcha (thumb) I was under the impression you already had all of the components from the msp.

Why do you want to do an MSP conversion? You will have to get the MSP radiator, AC condensor,AC lines,etc..If you have pieces, piece together a kit. This way you don't have to spend all the money on parts that are smaller and less efficent(radiator,etc)..

My main reason for wanting to do the conversion is for reliability. Over here in Belgium it is quite hard to find parts for anything much less a dyno to get the car tuned. I figure if I go with the MSP set up everything bolts right on and when I use the MSP ecu the car should run with no problems. Im not looking to put down big numbers, I just what to put a little pep in the cars step.

If theres a easier way Im open to all suggestions.

I think MAM and maybe Hiboost sells tubular manifolds that bolt up to the stock turbo (and yours should have the same flange).

Well Im gonna bump this thread cause I got some pics to make sure it will fit. If not someone let me know. I will sell real quick and get a T25. I would like to use the MAM tubular manifold.

That is a T3 backside. You will need to use our Thumper manifold to make it fit.
