I think that a lot of cars look really good when lowered with the stock rims. I plan to lower mine without upgrading my rims. People think the car looks stock but it stands out just a bit more.
this is what i planned on doing................why spend like $1200 for new rims and tires when you could spend between $200-$350 and get some lowering springs. i like my stock rims just the way they are, but i dont think that im going to lower it THAT much. i prefer my wheels not 'tucked.'
Cool guys! I think I'll go with stockies for a while too... some spool spriings to. I decided to use the money for the Jetta first gotta fix the 2.slow mobile hehe
Het L8R/Chris, How stiff are the Teins? I've been looking at them and want to make sure that they're firmer than the stock springs. Someone told me that they were soft. But I don't know if I believe them.
Hey all, the skunk2 were ok for showing off how low the P5 could go, but the ride was freakin, insanely horrible. I never took my car anywhere(took the wife's 02 camry se ), because of the horrible ride. I have since installed spool springs, and the overall performance and ride are so much better. I went ahead and spent the $1200 on some wheels, and overall love my car even more. The handling has been improved, and with the spools I have NO popping. THe skunk2 pop all the time. Anyway, hope this helps. Stockies are good, but slap a set of 18s' on and a nice 2" drop, and you will see people pull up in parking lots to check out your P5. Later..
