what is the temp and climate like up there... down here they work great, great for wet and dry climates, i dont know about snow..

well all the weather i've driven in has been dry, 65-85 degrees, normal weather, they scared me in the rain.

here are the pics! can't wait to put them on.

oh well if you like them thats all that matters, im going back to my kumho ecsta mx's

That's fine. There's no perfect tire for everyone. If you go read some reviews on tirerack.com, every tire has some complaints about it. But it's just strange that a summer tire performs better in rain than a all-season tire ...

Nice. Congrats! Maybe you should bring it up to the bedroom so you can smell that fresh rubber while you sleep? :D

Lol, when I was driving home, I couldn't get enough of that smell.

yeah i know that smell, i just got a new falken on because my valvesteam blew out of my rim , and the rim screwed up on tire.. so i got a fresh one for free from mazda... u know else is amazing.. my car handles 10X better without my stereo equipment... lol, but its still going back in..

Thats funny, I actually did that with my new Hankook HRII's before the rims came. The wife wasn't too fond of it though. I told her i was going to buy an extra tire just to keep in there for the fragrance.

I think we'll have a few sets ending up in our bedroom in a couple of months. :) Friend is moving into our extra bedroom/"garage" and we have to move the autox wheels out of it. Fortunately they're all in bags to keep the smell and gravel in.

OMG. I was just JOKING about the smell thing... u guys are weird (well, in a good way) :D

anyone has a life line on this things? I really dont care so much about grip as being able to afford tires all the damn time.

the threadwear is like 360 on mine. I am guessing is about 25K? I don't have any idea about this.

the ones on my Protege still had good treads when I sold it at 56k miles

installed at around 30k, so 26k miles it's still got good treads left.

pretty good wear IMO
