I have been having boosting issues lately and today i couldn't even reach 1psi! I read on here that this turbo xs BOV is not good for running under 10psi? is this true? Right now its set at 5 and i want to raise it to 7. I hope i'm not doing harm to my turbo by having this bov, and i'm thinking maybe this might be the reason i'm not boosting; since at idle, i can see the piston is have open. Also, i just noticed that the black rubber seal looking things around the bottom of the BOV are cracked and falling off. pLease someone share some knowledge about this and help me figure this out.

i have had it installed on my car for over 8 mths now and have not had any problems?? even when i was running 8 psi. you know you can adjust it to make it harder to open right? so it does not open until higher boost levels

did you buy it brand new?? sorry i just read the rest of yuor post?? screw off the top near the vaccume line and see if anything is broken

i'll have to try that tomorrow. Did u know what the deal is with the rubber seal things? also, when you're car is idling, does the piston completely cover the air hole?, cause i can put a few fingers in there at idle.

i never checked but i am pretty sure it is totally closed, when i bought mine it came with either spacers or a diffrent spring(i am 3600 miles away from my house now so i cant check) but i know it is adjustable. if you dont have this resolved in a few days i will check mine when i get home
