I don't like my 2003 knob, post pics or links to your aftermarket...

I saw that cardomain.com has the Momo Raptor knobs for $80 is that the best price around? Also do they fit stock P5 standard shift stick.

pirana, whats the red led for under the brake handle? is it the reverse indicator light? thanks

Joe, that is the O/D button that originally came in the auto shifter.

I wish the boot didnt have the big plastic washer though, sometimes i like to shift underhand and it hits my fingers...

i dont want to shell out for a new boot though, since i just made some expensive electronics purchases... :)

Any idears on how to get that plastic washer smaller/ out of there but still hold up the boot?

i had actually replaced my boot with an aftermarket one, it was a custom designed boot by this guy at speedboots the way that it worked was since it wasnt on his site, he got me one for free, but i had to ship him mine. the problem was, it wasnt the highest quality, it started ripping after like 6 months of use, luckily i had requested that he send back my original boot. well in the making of the new boot, he had removed the ring from the factory one and put it in the new one, so when i switched back to my factory boot, i needed to yank that thing back out. i
ts not hard, its just glued in there. its plastic, so a utility knife, some time, and a steady hand should be all you really need to cut it down.
