good numbers but why STD? where's the SAE... and that being Win PEP did you forget to set it?

Danm Nick is that a new dyno, or the old one... i love how your system makes such good numbers compared to others running the same boost..haha..i wonder why?(scratch) MPI/extra injectors/Big MAF..

not trying to be a dick, but STD smoothing plays a part in that... but also, that torbo is heavily reworked into 400hp efficiency range. that make a difference too. that car is heavily modified to make such high numbers at those boost numbers.

but that is a good thing. you just can't directly compare it to "Kit A" on a stock engine

I wasnt just reffering to just this car. Look at Big tim's he has a stock motor i believe and makes very good numbers at low boost compared to othe kits, maybe he can chime in and give us his numbers...
If im not mistaken azian6r made the same numbers on 17psi with a gt2871r turbo.
And yes i understand where you are coming from..

I think these people are making more power compared to other kits because these people are actively tuning the unit, not running on preset maps created in conditions of a locale far away and usually differint from their own. Oh, and of course the mods help I am sure.

The turbo is a GT25 with a GT 28 comp wheel. So it will not make as much power as a GT28RS. This turbo is in no way good for 400whp. Also the run was made with a stock MSP exhaust system with the front cat removed.

I was a dick about the very same thing for almost a year. But because most do not use the SAE it is hard to compare. I will repost with SAE.

you've said many times that his car made 328whp... that is damn close to 400hp .,.. and if you reread my post I did not say WHP.

I know.. and it is the only reason I mentioned the STD smoothing. I know you fought very hard to get things equalized here.. and I agree... SAE smoothing for all, or none

also, for whatever reason BigTimm did NOT make as good a numbers as he thought he would at the AZ dyno day

you'll have to ask him directly to get his number, I have forgotten it though

nice numbers, especially considering that its using the stock exhaust setup

you'd probably get a few more hp if you got rid of the aol from the dyno :)

Here you go with the SAE. Now take a good look at these numbers and see why I am such a prick about only posting SAE runs. Keep in mind that I have posted the dyno files this past summer with all of this info.

Here you have a 15psi run with the cutout opened. SAE and no smoothing.

aol from the dyno??

I was just checking out Deans old runs. I am guessing that you should be around 290-300whp @13psi. 15psi should be around 320-330whp. 18psi should be near 375whp. After that we will see is everything still flows fine. I would like to run 20psi on the dyno and hit the 400whp mark.

Time will tell.

what kind of em are they running? Shizzit those are some good numbers.

Are you kidding? All of the big guns on this forum run the MPI Tuner. Dean has the stock injectors, fuel pump and FPR. We installed two extra injectors in front of the throttle body.

Keep in mind that you have alot more turbo, bigger intercooler, more fuel, more port work, better valves, and the MPI ignition system. Cannot wait to dyno this beast.
