*so far. I was bored and thought i would post pics of my 510 project so far. Still just stripper her down. Waiting to get an engine hoist to get the motor out. then get the new motor and work on all the rust. new brakes and coil overs. but this is it so far.

what cause my motor to blow up. Yes thats a crack in the water pump.

ya who ever says water and oil dont mix, has never seen a motor with a whole in the block. water/antifreeze/oil mixture looks like a shake (dance)

wow youve got a lot of work to do. i wish i had time to get something like a beat up 60s mustang or something and work on it, or an old beat up rx7 or supra.

ya thats kinda why i got it Matthew. I wanted to work on my mazda so bad, but I have to drive it to work/school everyday, so it cant have any down time. So i picked up the datsun. Hopefully soon i will have the fiberglass front end (hood, fender, valance, bumper) and my new motor (wink) , some coilovers and willwood brakes all around, and maybe a few years in the future a conversion to a two door.

well once i get the cash I'll be getting the VG30DETT the twin turbo 3.0l V6 from the 300zx. It will sorta drop right in. Just a few modifications to get it to fit in.

ya i love rotorys are sweet, but im sticking with a nissan/datsun product. And actually it will be harder to put the 13b in over the VG30.

yea we were doing the swap in a 510 wagon but the guy ran out of money, the 13b re weighs a lot less but either way sounds like it will be fun when it is all done

its been done a few times. its a bit heavier (proably 200lbs more) but thats why im doing fiberglass upfront. here is a VG30 in one already.

Ya once im done with the Datsun and its running reliable. The motor is coming out of the Mazda and getting rebuilt and hopefully some fun turbo stuff from Mental Addiction

ya either way its going to be fun . If i ever get a wagon i think ill put in an rb26 and tub the rear end (naughty)
