Well...that might be your way out.

I had a ticket dropped because the cop put the wrong vehicle information. He put wrong plate number, and make! I don't know how he thought my ford at the time was a dodge...

Anyways, that might be your way out, simply say "I don't own an MX6...let a lone a 2001"

I doubt it will work, the judge will be like "Look I don't care if you have a MX6 or not, that's your name and driver's license number on that ticket, you broke the law, you pay. kthxbye"

The cop's job is to catch you breaking the law, not play name that car. Then again if he put down the wrong plate number you can use that to show the judge what a bonehead the cop is, and suggest they instate a literacy test as part of the hiring procedure.

i suppose he also couldn't read Mazda MP3 or where it says 2001 Mazda Protege on my insurance card?
