Just so everyone knows, the Mazdaspeed badge is glued, however there are still holes underneath (bad). The Protege badge is also glued of course, but it has pegs that go in the same holes, but obviously on the other side.

I'm thinking of buying a VW Turbo badge and painting it black (my Protege emblem is black now and it looks a lot better than before imo - not quite the same billboard effect).

I did a badge swap also. I went with the VW turbo badge and the MAZDASPEED miata badge. The big MAZDASPEED from the miata did NOT cover the holes so I epoxy'ed the holes then painted them. You can barley see one little spot that's not smooth. Looks dam good. I painted them the car color so they blend in well.

Yea I'll be there if they have it. The VW badge was @10 - 16 bucks. I got the new muffler also.
