I FINALLY got Dave B's ring installed in my car woohooo!!

I searched for awhile on the board looking for some infos on the dashboards red lights. Is it me? or it is very low?! Just wondering...

I told the dealer once. But I knew what was the answer. The famous "it's normal"

and one more question about the Dave B's rings.. is it normal there's a gap on the upper ? (see pic)

I think all mine have a gap like that if I know what you are talking about. The rings don't seem to go on far enough to touch the gauge face.

when did I order mine? euh....I got them 8 months ago.. never took time to install them(lol2)
yes, the rings are nice...and everyone on the board should have them on!

and what about your opinions on the red light in the car? too low?

220 speedo, tee hee. Sorry, I'm a Yankee, it's still funny.
i'd buy it.. I really want one :(

oh yeah.. It would be nice if the gauges did touch, then they'd be nice for holding white faced gauges down.

sometimes it does seem like my gauge lights are dim, then other rimes they seem bright.

they definitely aren't too bright though, but it's good for your eyes. only thing that bothers me is that my alpine, even when set to auto dim, it still isn't nearly as dim as my other dash lights at night.

Mine are pretty consistent. They are definitely not Too Bright on full though. I usually drive with them on full and they are fine.

weird. it's almost impossible to see when they're not to the max
now the fun part start..going to tell the dealer about it (sad1)
