Pics of my home made gauge pod. I didnt want a pillar type and wanted one that angled more towards the driver. Couldnt find one so tried to make my own. $25 in materials and 4 hours later. Not quite finished yet. Still need to do some sanding and paint. Also, need to decide what brand of gauges to install. I want it to match the stock illumination and colors scheme. Any suggestions?

you should keep the gauges flush with the gauge pod, not have those things sticking out...just IMO, i can show you a pic of mine later.

Defi gauges are the best match to stock.

I've got the DaveB rings and think that the Autometer Ultralight are close to stock. I haven't ordered mine yet, but plan on changing the light in the gauge to better look like the stock illumination.

nice work!

for the colors, mike purchased red bulbs (LED? not sure) and just replaced the stock gauge bulb. looks the same

peace

I used a piece of acrylic 1/4" thick and Autometer Angle Adapters. I plastic welded the pieces together, sanded it to give it a one piece look and painted it flat black to match the gauges. This is the finished product installed.
