yeap you read right !!!! just got back from 3 hours at the dealer as you all know i own a 2003.5 msp wich i still have by the way and i traded my 2000 galant for a mazda three for the wife but a week ago she totals the car(thank god she was ok but my son had whiplash and is only 3yrs anyway thi insurane deemed the car a total loss lucky i went back and got gap insurance on the car i only owed 250.00 sow she tells me she wants a speed but we all know what she is getting at!!!!! i make a deal i give you the speed if i can get a evo.........that didnt turn out well i ended up with a 2004 blue srt-4 all i can say is the car is pretty awsome doesnt handle like the speed but this little neon is fast as hell!!! i got it for 19,689 with sunroof!! and only put down 500.00 dollars!!

lol nice, im actually in your same boat, i'll be selling my '97 Maxima on monday, and tuesday im buying a '04 Blue SRT-4 with sun roof on tuesday! It's gatta be cool to own a MSP and a SRT good luck with your new car!

first off I'm glad you familys ok
and the blue is by far one of the best colors I have ever seen as a stock paint.
now you have agreat handling car and a fast car.it's to bad you can't combined the two.
if you want mods for the srt check out www.modernperformance.com I used them a lot in the past.

some thing you may need to know in the future;you can't lower the srt with springs and fit 7.5inch wheels they rub,a lot.

I only say that because know one told me when I paid $2,500 for wheels for my 2002 R/T

thank you for the concern of my family!!! and as for the car i wanted to put 18 inch formula 5 wheels on it and lower the car what are my best options? also need help with mpi tuner install on the speed!!!

well when i get mine, i think i wanna just go with the mopar stg. 1&2 and wait for 3 then just lower the back, and maybe a lil nawssss for the track :) My MSP will still be my favorite, (so fun to drive) Srt will be the "beater" big brother car, of course i wont really beat it ;)

I was searching the link you put up and i saw this set of springs the Goldline Lowering Springs that give a 1.5'' drop in the rear, looks pretty nice to me $160.00 for the set.

the gold lines work great but if you use 18" or 7.5" you will rub so bad you won't be able to drive.

with the goldlines you will hear the spings raddle around over any big bumps.
it can be fixed by using zip ties on the top to the camber plates.

do it right and get the eibachs there was more thought put into them.
AND DON'T GET THE PROGRESS SPRINGS!

and those mopar stage kits are by far the best bang for the buck.

Seriously though, I hope your kid gets better. It sounds like you made out with an awesome deal on an awesome car. I wish I could own both. Im sure the MSP will still be your favorite though.

exactly, am i the only one who thinks the srt is a pos? the seats are terrible, the quality is that of a dogs chew toy and its small as hell, you WILL die in a side impact. have you tried closing the door while sitting in the seats? i couldnt even reach the damn door handle since the seats are so confining... and im 5'11

but meh if you like it then its all good, good luck
