not much new, almost done with my 69 camaro project. It is painted and almost completely assembled, I am still buffing it- I HATE buffing. I have done it 3 different times in 3 different lighting situations and it will always look perfect until the light changes then you see swirls all over it .. It is getting there though. Can't wait to drive it!!!

Joe, I have your MBC and I noticed that the black parts (threaded area and top of threaded part) have rust on them. Is this a concern? Is there any maintainence on this part? Is there a life span on the MBC? Thanks!

Agreed .. As for the rust, that is just on the threads on the adjusting hardware. You'll be fine. If you want, you can spray it with WD 40 or something similar to prevent it from getting too bad. I wouldn't worry about it though. If it ever turns into a problem like it seizes up and you can't turn it or something, let me know and I'll replace it for you. I have yet to see that though. As for the life expectancy, I never hear the bad (that is saved for the message board bitching ), so I don't know if any are breaking or wearing out over time- if it does, it has a life time warranty and I will fix or replace it. I do know of several that have been in use for over 5 years now though, so it is pretty reliable.
