11,700 miles, no mechanical problems. all recalls performed. This is my favorite car thus far.

I never had any of the clutch/flywheel issues that others had. Mine was perfect. I even had some minor mods and probably drove it harder than I drive my MS3 currently. I miss my SVT, but I'd sure miss my MS3 more if I didn't have it either.

Getrag makes transmissions for a lot of higher end cars like BMW as an example. My previous car, the SVT Focus had one too. It was unique to that car in Ford's line up at the time. Of course, the Mini Cooper has been using it since it's more recent US release.

It won't happen unless you get lucky in the private market. Check blue book values. You'll probably see 10k easy, but no higher than 12k as most dealers already sell around that already.

I agree Ford had much to be desired as far as bringing more power to the focus stateside or at least an awesome handling car in stock form, with power to match. Unfortunately, Ford isn't too dumb thinking that the Mustang is their meal ticket. It does sell considerably better than the SVT did...
