AFAIK the trunk light turns off as soon as the tailgate is closed... kinda like a fridge. I remember a post a while back about it. Maplights could have done it to ya.

I use mine for snowboarding, I have a sport rack 8 board rack. The car is great for this application, only problem is that the rack is a gas mileage killer... But the car is great I can hold 4 peeps all our gear and the boards are outside outta the way :) cheers

I believe they were about $300 canadian. They are huge and fit any Thule or Yakima box/ski rack. Only complaint is the noise with the sunroof open, above 40 mph it is almost deafening!

I got mine as a dealer added option when the car was purchased. It is the 3M stuff. I have a noticed that it does indeed make a difference. Places where rocks would usually chip right thru the paint, they have only dinged the film... I would recommend it 4 sure!

So easy, I was amazed.... The only issue I had was finding a short enough screw driver to fit between the steering column and the top of the bezel.

Done Well the weekend project was a success, i managed to paint the gauge cluster and get a pro5 decal made at a local import tuning shop. I lost the damn accent for the last e tho!! :mad: But I think it looks cool! Thanks for all the tips! Here it is:
