    Heated seats suck?

Just got confirmation from dealer, the heating element in the lower seat area was inoperative. Will be replacing under warranty. Can't wait to have it fixed.

i-Eloop supercap failure on '16 GT

Yikes! I wish I had done more homework on the ieloop system before purchasing. But as it was, not a huge selection of decent used 6's in my area (plus I made the mistake of "falling in love" with the color combo of black on white leather) First off I hope I don't encounter any issues with my...

Paint flaking off dark GT wheels

Thanks for the input guys. I'll be taking the car in soon for a couple other warranty claims, maybe I'll throw the affected wheel (on summer tire) in the trunk and see what they say.

Paint flaking off dark GT wheels

Does anybody happen to have pics of what the flaking looks like? I just got my 2016 6 with the same rims, 3 out of the 4 are in excellent shape. But #4 has one area where both clearcoat and paint have come off. Not curb rash type damage, I'm hoping if anyone can show a sample of a warrantied...

i-Eloop supercap failure on '16 GT

Oh great, I recently purchased a '16 GT(in service date : April 2015). Mine came with a 4 year MAP warranty so if the battery/supercap DO fail I hope its before the warranty is up.(nailbyt)

    Heated seats suck?

Would any deficiencies in the seat warmers be covered under MAP? Just got my '16 6 GT 3 months ago, and my issue is the seat will take a good 5 minutes plus before I get any "usable" heat. And even at that, the heat distribution between seat and seatback is probably about 25/75 or worse (for my...

    False temp/Fuel gauge readings?

True enough. well, maybe I'll install the gauge if its not too difficult, then check it when the engine"overheats".

    False temp/Fuel gauge readings?

$20? for an infrared? Wow, didn't know they were that cheap. No advice on diagnosing with the meter?

    False temp/Fuel gauge readings?

I guess maybe I could go to my local shop and get a reading with an ir temp gauge the see if its within normal specs?

    False temp/Fuel gauge readings?

yup. I've got a multimeter - is there anyway I can test the sensor with it?

    False temp/Fuel gauge readings?

I'm 99.9% sure it's not actually overheating because I could hold my hand on the rad cap after the first occurence. And no expansion-contraction engine block ticking noises after shutting down.

    False temp/Fuel gauge readings?

Ok, so recently I did tstat&coolant flush to correct an overheating issue. Other than having to swap out the cheapo napa replacement tstat with the Mazda one, it all worked out. Until now. Random times the temp needle buries itself at the top end. I tried cranking the heat/fan, sometimes brings...

How To: Fogs On/ Daylite Running off (Canada)

ummmm....ok.....nevermind. Figured it out - my lack of knowledge of electrical terminology messed up my job. Harness side/ connector side doesnt make sense to me the way it was written. I figured harness side would be where the wires connect through a HARNESS to the relay. Only after printing...

How To: Fogs On/ Daylite Running off (Canada)

....just thinking....would the keyless entry bypass mod have any effect on this one?? Someone suggested detaching the battery, maybe the ecu has to be re-set??
