I can garantee that the CAI in the photo won't fit the 3. if u notice the TB is located near the rear of the engine bay where as the TB of the 3 is located in the front of the engine bay.. So you'll just have to wait till they make one for the 3.

when you pop the cover you'll notice a hook. its so that they can pull your car on a flat bed if needed.. you see those types of covers in BMW,volvo and such.
