If any of you were still wondering how this came out, no I did not die. I'm getting ready for fire school so i've ceased all modding and been packing up to leave dfw. This is the cleanest picture of my car at the moment.
Yeah I realize I could have bought different bronze wheels that were already fitted and not rashed etc. but this is very rare to have been done. And I love the way that look. So wide and well stanced.

The one I got isn't universal. Its the exact size meant for a mazda hub (04-09 theyre all the same). 67.1mm hub bore and a 114.3 bolt pattern. I'm taking the rear ones off for now to stop them from rattling since nothing is actually forcing them onto the hub. Then an adapter maybe in the works...
I'm on sportlines as well. Just be careful of the offset when you get aftermarket wheels though. I just threw STI wheels on mine and when I hit bumps the tire rubs the metal part of the fender in the back. But other than that I love the way it corners with that and my strut bar.
Yes, I got STI wheels last week and yes I put them on my car today. Still needs work though.
