could be several things, loose fasteners, rad vibrating, detonation. Detonation is always under load and sounds like a rattling, or marbles in your exhaust or small ticks... Start with the most simplest and see what you can isolate. Matt

I used to complain to myself of my shifter doing this all the time as well. I spilled gingerale down there though... I put some lithium grease on the ball and the noise didnt' go away at first. Now a few months later, its completely quiet. Kind of wierd Matt
