Hawk HPS all around here. Dust build up is less than stock pads. Pad performance is very good.

    Rear passenger caliper sticking

I'm going to keep an eye on mine and adjust as needed. My front pads had about 50% of their life left but the rotors were grooved and lipped pretty bad (I'm hard on brakes). The rear brakes were much more worn, especially the passenger side, as stated earlier. Hopefully this issue doesn't come...

    Rear passenger caliper sticking

Well, seems no one else had this issue. If you do, you need to buy a caliper retraction tool and spin your caliper pistons in so they clear the pads with about a 1/8th inch of clearance. All good after that.

    Rear passenger caliper sticking

I recently replaced the brakes at all 4 corners of my '07 Mazdaspeed 6. When I removed the rotor/pads from the rear passenger side I noticed that they were significantly more worn than the rest of the brakes. I went ahead and greased everything up and installed the new brakes anyway. It still...

    Any MS6's in Wisconsin?

I'm in Milwaukee with a black 07 MS6. It's pretty much stock other than snow tires for this time of year and an intake. I live around 60th and Lincoln. It's good to see a couple guys with MS6s in Milwaukee. They are honestly great cars for the area, in my opinion.

    oil filter ??

Wix makes a great filter and Amsoil is the absolute best oil money can buy in my opinion. It's just so expensive! Where do you get it, do you order it online or is there a local chain that carries it?

    oil filter ??

    I have always liked K&N oil filters. P/N HP-7013 for MS6 and most Mazda/Ford 2.3L cars.

Round 2: Speed6 in the snow Passanger POV vids!!!

Nice pics/vids. Get some snow tires though! I have Blizzack WS50s on mine and I can get some serious drifts going in a pretty short distance. The real beauty is that I can still stop/turn out of the drift if I really need to. Well, as long as I don't go too fast! (boom04) Here in Milwaukee they...

    thinking about getting a speed6

Good luck with your search kwright997. For reference I have owned my '07 since new and it now has 21,000 miles on it. The only thing that has gone wrong is a rear wheel bearing. The mechanic at my local dealer said that the bearing was installed incorrectly from the factory and that's why it...

    Cold start problem????

I would recommend letting it run at least until the revs come down to around 1000. This will at least get the oil somewhat less viscous. Logic tells me it couldn't be a battery since it starts initially, although if you have the stock battery, you may want to look at getting a new one since...

    Cold start problem????

My '07 MS6 Sport starts with no problems all the way down to -7F. That's the coldest it has been this year in Milwaukee, WI. It was parked outside all day while I was at work and fired right up when I walked out to warm it up before I drove off. I let it run for 10-15 minutes and it was barely...

I wanna buy an MS3 GT

I was at Darrow yesterday for my first oil change. They have no speed3s or 6s. Although, they have a shipment of speed3s on the way. Josh over there said they were getting 5 of them soon. Just an FYI.
