Let's add some more information to this: My brother and cousin were the passengers of that rsx-s. Their friend just got the rsx-s for 6 days. During the accident, the car clipped a lexus which had a mother, father and a toddler in it. I am really pissed right now.

You should do a custom one. My brother got 2.5 inch mendral belt custom catback exhaust for $290. It is very good quality and it made a difference. A downpipe would free it up much more.

The altimas are a little bit slower than the maxima. The auto version did 15.1 i believe while people have seen 14.6-14.7 on the manual version. They are also underated from the factory. 1/8 would probably not yield you any benefits.
