Yes , the best would be to uninstall it , but it can be leaved in place , but the metal chips will go trought the turbo and into the Cat ....

You should drill a hole 2 inches from the cyl. head on the 1st cyl. nearest to the throttle body(on the exhaust manifod). I suggest using grease on the drill and the tap to minimise metal in the exhaust manifold (to prevent turbo damage). If you are not sure on how to do this , i suggest you to...
