Snow Tires - will 225/50/16 be a problem?

Okay Thanks! I guess I'll stick with the All-Seasons I just bought. Thanks.

Snow Tires - will 225/50/16 be a problem?

We've got a set of 225/50/16 Bridgestone Blizzaks sitting at work that I can probably get cheap. I know it's almost a 4.75% increase in overall diameter but my P5 doesn't have ABS or Traction Control so will it freak anything out besides my speedometer (or even that if it's electronic from...

    Carlisle photo shoot...

Hey Everybody...I know that many of you had some hot Proteges here at Carlisle last year...I'm wondering what's in store for this year at Harrisburg. Here's the deal...I'm looking for a few cars to show to my marketing manager for our printed advertisements and website content. I want...

    Carlisle CANCELLED!! WTF

I can dig your point, gro. This town just can't handle this event. That's what it all comes down to. Your point about the cops is exactly true. It will be held in the future in a place and in a manner that is totally controlled. About vendors...I didn't bring that up. Must have been...

    Carlisle CANCELLED!! WTF

You guys and girls all have valid points and I can see your frustration but, until you run one of these events, you have no idea what it takes to get more security and police into the right areas. We're working on making the show more restricted, more controlled, and in a more controllable...

    Carlisle (it was fun again!!)

Sorry I didn't get to meet any of you there...I was trying to fix all of the s**t that the people before me screwed up. Anyway, hope to meet some of you at other shows. Glad some people had fun. Mike New Carlisle Event Manager

    Carlisle CANCELLED!! WTF

Okay, I'm going to post to this just because I know all about it and I've been a contributor to this board for a while so I figured it's safe. Custom Compact Nationals as a whole is NOT CANCELLED. It will not be held in Carlisle ever again. Does this surprise you? Don't tell me there wasn't...

    Who's going to Carlisle?

Sounds good...I'll see you all there. Since I started this thread, maybe 2 weeks later, after calling and asking about the show, I got a job at Carlisle working on the events and moved from NJ to PA. It's always cool to call a cool place and find out they have an opening! Anyway, I'm...

    Who's going to Carlisle?

Cool...I'm stoked for the turnout! I'll be there but my car won't (maybe in the parking lot...totally stock!) I'll check you all out. Have fun. Mike

Anybody here actually use their P5 as outdoor activies car?

This probably doesn't count but... Since I sold my bikes for the cars, all I do with the P5 is throw my lacrosse equipment in the back. It holds enough stuff to outfit a whole team and the cargo tray/net keeps everything in place pretty well.

    Who's going to Carlisle?

From what I know about it so far, Carlisle is going to be huge this year. I'm curious who's considering going from the P5 and MP3 enthusiasts on this board? Give a shout if you're gonna be there so I can look for you and your ride!

    Jackson Racing Supercharger?

I'm looking for an M62 or Screw type S/C as you read this. Or I'm scrapping the project and buying an FM turbo kit. (2thumbs) Now, what to do with the M45... :( (Maybe I'll get another Festiva...);)

    Jackson Racing Supercharger?

I'm with you here, Keith. I do agree...I'm just stuck on the idea that the M45 is acceptable for my needs. I've read and reread "supercharged". I've done the math a hundred times. It seems to work out. Maybe (i'm sure) there's something I'm missing. Maybe you'll just make a Screw S/C...

    Jackson Racing Supercharger?

But our engine "theoretically" requires less than 240 cfm at stock power...

    Jackson Racing Supercharger?

Okay...I looked into it myself. I'll need to spin the M45 @ about 13,000 RPM to get about 310cfm at 7psi, to make about 200hp at the crank (that's a reasonable figure for me...don't really need more than that in this car for what I do with it.) Basically, the M45 at over 13,000 rpm is only...
