I'm getting great numbers, now that I'm past engine break-in. Curr Avg Consum 25.9Mpg in mixed driving, including heavy traffic. Before the car hit 1K miles, I was only averaging 24.4Mpg. Hope it continues to get better.

Problem was caused by a bad Yaw sensor. I had reported originally that this was a traction control issue, but it wasn't. The light on the dash was for the DSC. First the ABS Module was replaced under Mazda Tech direction, when that didn't work they ordered a "combo switch" that the dealer got...
