    2013 CX-5 TPMS Issue

GTK. Mine is FWD and I had not planned to get new tires yet. Both front tires are at 7/32, so I will likely replace the rear this time next year.

    2013 CX-5 TPMS Issue

Popping this up. I'm having the same issue on my 2013 Mazda CX-5 this week. I'm wondering if a new tire could cause this to occur due to difference in rotation speed? I had a flat and replaced one tire on the rear. The rear now has one tire with a tread depth of 5/32 and the new tire is at...

    Denso 150-2002 Dissection - 7,750 Miles

Excellent! Keep us posted. If these are a true replacement for the Mazda 1WPE-14-302 oil filter they are quite a bit less expensive (about $3.99 on RockAuto). My only concern is if the bypass pressure is the same as Mazda OEM.

    CX-5 Oil filter specs?

Rock Auto and Denso list the 150-2002 Denso Oil Filter as a match for the Mazda CX-5. Does anyone know if it is identical in terms of construction and bypass pressure? The only thing I can glean from the websites it that it DOES have ADBV which the Mazda filter does not, so these may not be...

    Installing A Dash Cam

Quick update. Inviscord sent out a new cord with the micro usb, same issue, no charging. :( It seems this will only work for non-Garmin dash cams.

Anyone cross shop the CX-5 with a Subaru Outback?

We have a 2013 Mazda CX 5 and a 2015 Subaru Outback. I like them both but they are very different. Subaru drives like a large car but makes the roughest roads feel smoothe. The CX 5 is very tight (drives like a car) but you also get lots of road feedback (good and bad). For our family of...

    Installing A Dash Cam

Thanks for that info. I received a reply from Inviscord that this has to do with Garmin using 18kohm power supply through the USB connector. How long ago did you get your Invisicord? I mistakenly ordered a mini USB instead of a micro and tried to address it with a mini/micro adaptor suggested...

    Installing A Dash Cam

Garmin Dash Cam 45 2013 Mazda CX 5 I just purchased an Inviscord for my 2013 Mazda CX 5, however the power mirror connector is different from the posts here. On the 2013 the bottom row of the power mirror connector has a blue and red wire and on the top row I have a single black wire. The...

    Guide ATF Drain/Fill

You guys are extremely patient, this makes total sense. Thank you! I went out to the garage and pulled the inspection plate, removed the ATF dipstick and added 0.2 QTS.

    Guide ATF Drain/Fill

I pulled the inspection plate/cap under the car when I got home today from work (10 mile drive) and removed the dipstick while the car was still running (and warmed up). It was right on the center block (middle) of the dipstick. After cleaning it off and reinserting, it showed again to be in...

    Guide ATF Drain/Fill

Good points. My initial reading from the ATF dipstick was at the second "2" on the 122 with the car warmed up and the engine off. It would be interesting to hear, on a properly measured fill, what the reading from the ATF dipstick was with engine running and not running. I did not see any...

What have you done to your CX-5 today?

ATF drain and fill at 49K miles. :)

    Guide ATF Drain/Fill

I just finished a drain/fill on my ATF this afternoon with 49k on the clock. I removed the entire underbelly pan and the access hole next to the radiator drain. It made it super easy to access the ATF dipstick and drain the old ATF. I chose not to remove the air filter housing and snorkle...

    Question on trading up

Agreed! I'd love to have a newer 2.5L but my 2013 GT runs great and returns awesome mileage. Consider your daily usage. How do you use the vehicle 90% of the time? For the rare family trips, we don't take the CX-5 into the mountains (2.0L screams going over the mountains) but we do use it...
