I've got about 32,000 mi. on it. First noticed the issue about a year ago, though, but didn't think much of it until I saw it had started peeling off in several places!

Dealer will replace all 4 wheels next week under warranty, no questions asked. They obviously know this is a common problem. Anyway, glad they are doing the right thing. Hopefully other owners get this taken care of as well before warranty is up.

Mine have been doing the same thing over the last year, getting darker and darker. It didn't really bother me, (in fact it looks kind of cool!) except that now they are starting to peel as well. 2016 year model. I just went to the dealer today and they are contacting Mazda so we'll see.
No problem! yeah sorry I couldn't get a great pic of that with the dark headliner. It was about 4 or 5 inches. I think you would have enough room for the 29er wheels, but it probably depends on the length of the bike frame from fork to rear hub since the sunroof hump does come down right there.
Not sure if this is what you mean, but you can program the automatic opening height by manually pushing it to where you want it to stop and then holding down the close button for a few seconds. It should beep twice I think when it is set

I have had great success with Lamin-X on past cars. The CX9 seems to have much more rounded headlight lenses though. Not sure how easy it will be unless you get it nice and warm with a blow dryer. The film is really thick. As far as how it works, I think its pretty good at keeping the lenses...
