I suppose I could just disconnect the battery couldn't I.

The radio is still installed. I only removed the cubby hole under the deck and reached up behind the unit and plugged the cable in. Is there a fuse I can remove to cut power to the head unit? I'd like to aviod the hassle of taking the head unit completely out if at all possible.

Thanks for the input everyone. It still doesn't work, but I've become quite skilled at plugging it in without looking. I've got a support e-mail into Kenwood, but I doubt they'll be much help. Unfortunately, I don't have a way to test the cable to see if that's the problem or if it's the head...

I've got the ca-c1aux cable. I kinda plugged it in blind, but it looks like it only goes in one way, and it slid in nice and easy. I've reset it a 3rd time and still no AUX option. :(

Alright, I've got the Kenwood AUX cable and have it plugged in. I've reset the damn head unit a few times and still don't have the option to select AUX as an input option, all I have are Tuner/CD/All Off. Is there any kind of Voodoo I have to do to get this thing to work?

With all the gravel trucks on the road around here it had to happen sooner or later. I was kinda hoping it was gonna be later. Picture was taken from the inside out. The crack is about the size of the tip of my pinky fingernail, so it's not too bad.

I live in Whitewater, WI. I've been out the the Ultrascreen in Waukesha a few times. Most recently to the X2 opening on 5/2. I'll be easier to spot now with the bike rack on top. :)

As a few pointed out the MSP is my only car, and there was no way in hell I was gonna try to shove the bike in the trunk, so a rack was my only option. I went with the roof rack because I didn't want to have to deal with getting into the trunk with the bike hanging of the back which, right or...

Really helps with the wind noise.

Well...I finally settled on a THULE roof rack for the car. I was kinda nervous about the way it would look, but now that it's on there, I kinda like it. I'll upload a few pics when i get a chance.
