    Mazda 3 Luggin

I second Tsunami's recommendation. I had this problem too, Turns out it was because of a cold snap - The engine richened up and never stopped. doing this. (this was in march) When i reset ECU, it seemed to fix the issue, and I got better mileage! Also, next time your at the dealer, ask them if...

    My first interior mod

ORRRR you could cut a small duct with a hose from the vent above the stereo, route it down and drill a small hole in the side of the recess to have air blowing into the area to keep it clean. Lol... I'll just use some damp wipes and a compressed can of air. The felt is a great idea though...

    2.0 Rough Idle when Warm

Mechanic at the dealer had another 2006 GS 5speed right after mine and chased after me to show me - Idled rough as well... and by rough... i might just be a fuss ass... however, it "pulses" in its vibration... 3 seconds off... 2 seconds on... so on. Might just be resonance or something. I'm...

    Spending Money

Ok, I found a guy on E-bay who's Local to me, and he stocks ALOT of items i want. I'm thinking of changing ALL lights (except for the low and highbeams) to LED's... It'd cost a total of 140. I'm also getting smoke reflectors with LED's in them, which i'll wire to the brake lights. When all is...

    sad sad day for me....

I know a guy who bought a mazdaspeed6... went to pub at college and had about 30 feet of scratch marks on his car when he came out at midnight. Including a huge shlong (among other things) scratched in. He had to get the car re-painted. 1200 bucks. I would have cried. If anyone ever does that to...

    Wow... Love these rims!

Ya, I saw them on a dark silver Jetta *pukes* However, it didn't detract from how amazingly hot these rims are. I'm going with 17's. Daily driver on stock suspension, don't want it to be too rough. I've seen a set of 4 of them without rubber (18inch size, not 17) for 255 Each. I'm hoping...

    Wow... Love these rims!

http://www.5zigenusa.com/english/products/wheel/proracer/ZR+520.html Those are the rims. I would like a "deep face 2" rim ideally, which means it is 8 inch wide rim. Everyone i see has 7 inch rims, Will an 8 inch wide rim fit in a 2007 mazda3 sedan, stock suspension? Here is the rim i am...

    I finally did it...

The whole thing took less than 2 or 3 hours. Basically about... 20screws/fasteners (rough estimate) As for the horn... I think it was 16 gauge. Very lightweight stuff. And as for the wires heating up... Unless you were leaning on the horn for an extended period of time. As well, After i blew...

    2.0 Rough Idle when Warm

My car is starting to "shake" mildly (just slightly more than a vibration) It pulses... comes in cycles every 5 seconds, lasting for maybe 2 or 3 seconds. Only happens at low idle after the engine is fully warmed up. Doesn't matter if its 60 or 90 degrees outside, it still does it. Now, my...

New Mazda3 not starting on first attempt

We had a Similar problem with our 2007 Nissan Murano. What would happen is that the computer would "forget" the most ideal settings startup at cold temperatures, and as a result, the car would stall at startup time. The cure for THAT instance was a firmware upgrade for the ECU. Oddly, the...

    Idle too fast? How adjust?

My brother had a 91 Mazda Pickup. The idle is high to heat up the engine. It was carburated (not EFI) It would rev to about 2800 RPM if he let it while it was cold. Its a "semi automatic" choke. Try tapping the accelerator once (quickly, to about 3000 RPM or so) and see if it falls after that...

    I finally did it...

http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2665348 Try that. Copy and paste if it doesn't work. There is a removable fascade, one bolt and 3 clips holding it onto the bumper. The silver border is removable purely by plastic clips. (just push in the "nubs" and pull, you'll see what i mean if you check it...
