if you are installing the knockoff from Nextmod then yes it will lower the clearance in the front.

I'm interested! I'd buy the GV, RE, or a Diffuser similar to the one on the fit in the first post. No on the DG for me.

    Nextmod GV Front Lip

according to nextmod, "that gab(i think he means gap) is normal bro, there is a bigger cut there so the lip can go on, its the same as the original there"

    Nextmod GV Front Lip

same here.... got mine in the fall of last yr and just painted it now. Tape will not fix the huge gap near the front grills. I've been emailing the seller and they are non-apologetic and un-sympothetic to the fitment problems.

    Opinions on Boston Acoustic?

I own and used to have 2 12" G5s with 2 matching 12" GTR Passive Radiators installed in my car. They are very heavy weighing in around 35lbs each which is the main reason I took them out. My car handles better now without that 100+lbs setup in my car. Other than the weight, I loved these subs...

I need pointers on how to take off side moldings

x2 lol. decided to do this during the summer, in 75 degrees weather with clear blue skies. took around 5min to do the whole car. I can see it might take longer in colder weather but not 3 hrs.
