well the one position thing i think is refering to having the contact point to the clutch facing the motor. you can more or less hold it up your self the first bolt will be the hardest after that its just more or less lining everything up. and yes a wooden dowel would work.

thats the vehicle that i bought the motor from and rebuilt. my ad has expired and im still driving my protege. and that ad that maxx posted is not my mazda i actually went and looked at that one for interior s***. and my mazda is yellow.

ive done it on dirtbike motors.. there isnt a lot of pressure in the low end of the engine ill post pictures tomorrow of the motor sitting in my garage. lol but you wouldnt know anything about that now would you?

ok so as of right now im rebuilding the transmission and broke some parts along with needing replacements. i need the seals for the transaxle that go to the differential. also the plastic trough that runs from the center of the transmission for the 5th and reverse gears. it runs oil to them...

im pretty sure that ford owns mazda in some way. i know the transmission is exchangeable with the ford probe. i have heard quite a few times from people coming up to me and looking at my car and saying "Oh mazda the ford of japan." im not sure if they meant that mazda to the rest of japanese...
