    TY - so the unit is secured to the rim with a nut and doesn't even need to be removed for a new tire mount ?

    no - i just got tires but was just wondering because in the past with my other rides ive always changed the valve stem out when mounting new tires. is there a seal that i need to replace on the unit?

    i just ordered a set of tires from the discount sale and ommitted the valve stems when checking out. i did run a quick search to find out that they are schrader valves. are these just regular valve stems with the rubber grommet that fits into the rim, i tried to find some on ebay but couldn't.

    in researching this a bit ive come across a thread with a guy running 235/40/18 on stock rims. they seem to have mounted up fine and look ok.

    i like to buy my tires online and pay them off before i need them and am just starting to look around. just wondering if anyone has any first hand experience running these 2 sizes on the 7" wheel? i like wider is better and will go with the 225/45 if i must.

    MS3 oil?

    im running chevron supreme right now and up till sround 6k or so then im going with synthetic. i have havoline, penzoil platinum and valvoline synthetics - enough for around 50,000 miles. i buy them when they go on sale and paid under $3 a quart for them.
