I kept the head unit & the amp, hooked up the amp to new 150w pioneer 6x9's, & got 3 JLAUDIO 10's run in a series to a fosgate amp... Much much better even with just the 6x9's to the amp!! That's the cheapedt thing to do, not even needing the box & other amp like i did...

I took the whole back section out completely!!! The sub-blew, had the whole thing replaced, & within a week it blew again... My advice, take it out, buy 6x9's, hook them up to the already existing kenwood amp, & buy a box & another amp for the trunk... keep the whole set-up so you can put it...

Try taking a tooth pick or something w/a small head like that & press in the little white button on the bottom left side of the face plate.. That's the reset button & when the radio freezes it usually just reset.. The whole dealership thing isjust wasted time & frustration-believe me i know..

I 100% suggest that everyone do what I said I was gonna do about 2 posts ago!! Did it yesterday... Much props to Kenwood for putting what they did in the MSP, but it does not sound too good... The sub just lacks the "oomf"... anyways, I took out the whole back deck thingy(amp,sub,board) but...

I have had both problems listed previously... The head unit just stopping mid-way & also the sub just stoip working... I have already had the whole back piece(sub,amp,rack,etc.) replaced once by the dealer & just getting the pieces & the dealer to know anything about the set-up was a headache...
