Can anybody provide a link to the eBay ones? I tried searching and came up dry for model-specific (fitted) shades. Otherwise, I'd say the Mazda ones are pricey, but cost about the same as or less than window tinting, so could be a good deal.

Mazda CX9 Navigation SD card location

It's down by the hood release latch on a 2013. I wish the screen were bigger, but the actual system works really well, and having the SD card by the hood release makes it easy to access.

    New HID Fog bulbs

H11 is the correct bulb for the fog lights on a 2013. I didn't need any accessories beyond what came with the DDM Tuning kit. I assume the kit on Amazon is the same.

Welcome Greg, and it sounds like a great deal on the 9. When I read through your post, at first I thought there was a typo, but you really get Front Parking sensors in AUS (seen in photo 2). Funny that they don't offer them here. As for tuning, since it's a Mazda modified Ford Duratec, that...

Questions on buying a 2008 CX-9 Grand Touring

I can't speak to any of the points except the fuel to use. Unless there's a notation for the earlier models, the CS-9 should use 87 fuel, and not Premium.

2013 Mazda CX-9 Fog Light Bulb Options

Have you considered upgrading to HID for the fogs? It's almost as easy as changing the bulbs and the SilverStar bulbs aren't exactly cheap, while a decent HID kit can be found for less than $40.

    OEM front parking sensors

When I searched for that part number, only the tow bar came up, at least on the English pages I saw. As an aside, wouldn't a camera on the front of the car be just as or more helpful than sensors?

    Air compressor recommendations

I was washing my car yesterday, then after drying it, left it in the sun. Of course, some water then came out of the taillights and the side mirrors, dripped down the side and left some lovely water marks (really hard water here). I remember getting my last car washed at a local place that...

    New HID Fog bulbs

I took it to a mechanic, I just don't have a jack, so I figured take it to somewhere with a lift and the technician took less twenty minutes. I watched him do it and I seemed like an easy install. I should probably invest in a good jack for the next time I want to do something like this. Maybe I...

    New HID Fog bulbs

[/IMG] As you can see, the 3000k is a big difference from the OEM HID lights in the low beams. I think it's a big improvement in light output and I can't wait to see them in the fog.

    2008 CX-9 Low Beam Problems

Check that the wires are still seated well in the socket. Especially if they've been moved a couple of times when the bulb is replaced, the solder points may have broken off or if it's held in by tension, a wire can pull out.

Thanks. You all inspired me to go for it. I'll post pics for before and after.

    New HID Fog bulbs

I ordered a kit from DDM tuning, so when it gets here, the 3000k will hopefully offer better penetration in the fog we get here on the central CA coast. Thanks again for all the help, I really appreciate it.

    New HID Fog bulbs

Forgive my ignorance, this would be the most complex thing I've done on a car myself, but you're talking about accessing the splash guard from inside the wheel well, right? Ironically, I'm far more comfortable with the electrical part than the body moulding part. Also, there was no need to...
