Hmm, sounds good to me. I just have 1 question. My current vehicle is a 4runner with the V6. The manual recommends premium, but I don't see why I should put it in, so I've been putting the cheaper stuff in. Would car manufacturers lie about what kinda octane they recommend?

I was at the Mazda dealership today and I picked up a brochure fo the new Mazda6. In the back it lists the engine specs and it's 4 cyl makes 160hp with 155 lb/ft of torque. I'm wondering why they don't offer that in the proteges/p5s? It seems like it would be a perfect fit since everyone...

Alrighty. I'm actually shopping for a protege5, but the dealer said they could give me a sweet deal on a new 6. Problem is, I drive at least 50+ miles a day so mileage and gas prices are very important. Thanks.

Just wondering if the 3.0 litre engine in the new 6 requires premium fuel? What about the 4 cyl?
