Too cold too soon right now-29 with wind chill@ -42, forecast tonight: minus 33 - windchill -48. This is Celsius but still too cold.The 2 week vacation in Mesa mid January I booked is lookin pretty good!

header torques specs thanks and yeah I am asking about exhaust header.

I did a quick search and have seen the question asked b4 but didn't see an answer with any specs. Are there any specs for this or as someone put it "tighten until stops". Any advice is appreciated.

hey it's not so bad once you are used to it. There's 30 inches of ice on Clearwater Lake.... the trout are biting..The mighty Saskatchewan River has 24- 30 inches of ice and the pickerel are biting. Light a fire, sit in the ice shack and fish. Nice way to spend a day.

buggered alt i checked the belt it's pretty tight.A friend suggested disconnecting the battery with the car running. The car should run. If not the alt is buggered. I tried that and the motor quit(did it twice with same result). Can anybody confirm how reliable this is as a self test?

Took the car out today. Still smell the burning smell but I notice that with the lights on,fog lamps on,fan running full speed and the rear defrost on(it's -27 today) the engine service light came on after 20 minutes or so. By the time I got the car home it wouldn't restart...the battery was run...

Thanks but all is good for now I thought I could smell the belt burning last time i drove the car. I checked the belt it looked ok then checked the pulleys and it looked like the ac pulley wasn't turning. The lighting in my garage is poor so it was hard to see the pulley move...I ended up...

Hey one upside of living in the frozen north...it's been frigid for 2 weeks now but when it's this cold it doesn't snow. P5 hasn't moved in 2 weeks, Stock Dunlop tires are no good on ice. go figure! Waiting on winter tires..hard to get since Quebec made it the law to have winter rubber.
