Course of action for dealersip ripping me off?

Not to sound harsh, but you just answered your own concern. One thing I can say is live and learn. Yeah it cost you, but you'll know in the future to read everything, even if a minor detail was changed. Small changes can make big differences, being in the financial field, seen this happen a lot.

Bought a new little fishing boat to tow behind CX-5

Nah, we're just big guys. Haha Gets very hairy when we anchor and someone starts abruptly moving.

Course of action for dealersip ripping me off?

Being that it happened a year ago makes it tough. Also, because you don't have anything in writing and signed stating that the dealer is going to include the discount, it'll be just word for word. In addition, the financial paperwork is a signed contract, once you sign it, done deal, to bad. Not...

Bought a new little fishing boat to tow behind CX-5

Even though that boat is small, it gets the job done. A buddy of mine has a 17' V with an old Mercury on it and still hauls 3 300lbs guys at 25mph up stream. Haha. As for hole in the water, that pertains to any water craft. Loved my jet ski experience, but too much money.

    Goodbye, CX-5

I got 19k for my trade with 9k miles on it.

    Goodbye, CX-5

I was getting annoyed with the bluetooth constantly dropping my phone, and then not being able to reconnect until I restarted the car. I am definitely enjoying the Dub, haha. Haha. If the car doesn't need anything major before 100k, I will be happy. The amount of time it will take me to get...

    Goodbye, CX-5

The GTI definitely has less interior space than the CX-5, but that is to be expected for being in a different smaller class. However, I am still comfortable in the car, and I was able to haul home a BBQ grill from Lowes by folding the seats down. That is the beauty of a hatchback, you get a...

    Goodbye, CX-5

VW has since fixed that issue. Sounds like a lot of peoples comments on here are based on the older VW issues. I have a place to keep them up state where I ride, if I need to tow them back home, my GF's step dad has a Taco for that. I always do my own maintenance, not to mention I have a...

    Goodbye, CX-5

My girlfriend has a 15' Jetta, Mexico built, and it has absolutely zero rattles. Her car is actually why I even considered a GTI, it felt very well built. Originally I was looking at a Focus ST, but too many horror stories of transmission issue, charge pipes coming off, and the crappy interior...

    Goodbye, CX-5

People also bought the Buick Rendezvous, I think that is one of the ugliest SUV's to exist.

    Goodbye, CX-5

They are getting sued for false emission ratings, nothing to do with the quality of the vehicles. Was never a Mitsu fan. Huh, definitely interesting. I think a lot of boils down to maintenance. A lot of parts are made all over the place, but final assembly is in Mexico. I don't see any...

    Goodbye, CX-5

So far I don't regret it, haha. I have never owned VW before, but have owned BMW before, so German maintenance/reliability is nothing new to me. Hopefully I won't encounter any issues. From countless hours of research it seems that VW has stepped their game up in quality control and reliability.

    Goodbye, CX-5

I took a fairly large hit, almost 5k, but it is what it is and you live and learn. I was low balled by many dealers for trade in, but I ended up getting what KBB called for my CX-5 and the dealer only listed it for 2k more which is a shocker.

    Goodbye, CX-5

Last Friday I traded my CX-5 in for a 2016 VW GTI. The CX-5 did its job and I didn't have too many complaints with the car, but after a few months of ownership I kept wanting to get back into something that was manual and sporty. So after months of contemplating, I bit the bullet and traded it...
