My P5 has about 35,000 miles on it. I've had my brake light randomly coming on lately, so I took it to the dealership. Verdict: I need new pads and machined rotors all around. Question 1: at least 27,000 of the 35,000 are highway miles. Should I need my rotors machined at this point...

Nope, the rack is great. The back tire will touch the wing when you open the back door - either don't open it, or open is slowly and let it nudge the tire. I like it because it isn't sticking up real high in the air and I can use the factory racks. And it's cheap!
