Correct, my cx 5 I did at 80k I think. Using that data, I did my cx 9 at 100k with oem. At 200k, I'll might use non oem from Rock Auto. Or go cheaper with Asian blend from Castro.

I did it since I owned multiple Mazda. I wanted to see how good their "Lifetime" was. Turns out at 90k, the results told me to push it to 120k and come back. I used that data and adjusted my fluids replacement cycle. First round at 100k, next one at 200k ish.

Mine stay mostly at middle, sometime on right or left a bit. But been stable at least. Never noticed a large jump like you mentioned.
